Do you accept orders or inquiries over the phone?
No, we only take orders and inquiries through our website's online forms. After you fill out the form, you can book a consultation.
What is the notice period for taking both small and large orders?
We require 6 weeks’ notice custom wedding cakes and bulk orders prior to your event date. All other orders require 2-3 weeks’ notice. We recommend placing your order as soon as you have a date for your event. Our calendar books up very quick.
Do you accept orders at short notice?
While we do our best to accommodate last-minute orders based on availability, please note that a 15% rush fee will apply to the total order for any expedited requests.
Is there a minimum order amount?
All custom wedding cakes start at $1,200, while custom celebration cakes start at $600. Pricing per serving ranges from $15 to $45.
Do you accept custom cake orders?
Yes. We specialize in handcrafted cakes and treats.
Do you only do cake designs from your cake portfolio?
When it comes to design inspiration, the sky is the limit! My portfolio can be used as a source of inspiration. I work directly with my clients to ensure that their dream custom wedding cake or custom celebration cake is tailored to their vision and taste.
Will you create a replica of cake produced elsewhere?
No. I believe your custom cake should be unique and suit your event vision. However, we can get inspiration from designs you like and create a unique design just for you.
Do you provide Design Sketches?
Yes. Design sketches will be emailed to you for review and approval to ensure we're on the same page regarding the final design. Please note that sketches are only provided after receiving the 50% non-refundable deposit.
What design references do you want your customers to bring along during consultation?
You may bring in or attach to our online forms some photos, a style board, or anything that will reflect the theme of your event, such as invitation cards, fabric, or color swatches.
Do you offer cakes by size or servings?
We offer both. Each size has a standard base cost. Depending on your serving portion, we can help you narrow down the configuration to suit your needs.
What do you recommend serving sizes for various types of occasions?
If you are serving custom celebration cake or wedding cake alone, go with the dessert size. The coffee size will be perfect if you are serving other pastries besides your cake.
Do you offer in-person or virtual consultations?
Yes, we offer both. All consultations are by appointment only. You may book this appointment after you fill out our online form. The session will last 45 minutes to 1 hour. Due to the number of details that need to be discussed, we encourage you to come on time. A maximum of 2 attendees is allowed.
Do you offer cake tasting? Is there a charge for them? How do I book them?
Yes, we offer a Cake Tasting Box so you can sample our signature flavors at home. This service is included once you book with us, or you can purchase it beforehand for a non-refundable $60 fee. Visit our website for dispatch dates and to place your order.
Do you take off the charge for cake mail if we decide to book with you?
Yes. A portion of the fee will be credited towards your total if you book an order of $600 or more (excluding delivery and setup).
How much deposit do you need to secure an order?
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your order and date. Since bookings are date-specific, your payment helps reserve your spot, ensuring availability by prioritizing your order over others we may have had to decline.
When are the final payments due?
All final payments for custom orders must be placed 2-3 weeks prior to your event. Please refer to client contract for more details.
For seasonal and weekly pre-orders, final payments are due upon booking.
What payment methods do you take?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, or Direct Deposit (like Zelle or ACH). However, all payment methods must be made according to the terms of the invoice.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk discount for a one time order?
Our pricing reflects the true cost of our handcrafted, high-quality products, allowing us to maintain the exceptional standard you expect. We offer bulk discounts only for recurring orders with a minimum commitment of six months.
What is your Cancellation / No-Show Policy?
All requests for cancellation or re-arrangement of the pick-up schedule must be made in writing.
Custom Wedding Cakes, Custom Celebration Cakes and Large orders
If a cancellation is received more than three (3) weeks before the agreed completion date, any payments (minus the 50% non-refundable deposit) will be fully refunded. If full payment has been received any later than that, 25% of the payment (outside of the original 50% deposit) will be forfeited. The remaining balance will be refunded to your bank account via direct deposit. This is because all bookings are date-specific, and your payment will be used against other orders declined in place of your booking.
Small orders
If a cancellation is received more than two (2) weeks before the agreed completion date, any payments (minus the 50% deposit) will be fully refunded. If full payment has been received any later than that, 25% of the payment (outside of the original 50% deposit) will be forfeited. The remaining balance will be refunded to your bank account via direct deposit. This is because all bookings are date-specific, and your payment will be used against other orders declined in place of your booking.
No Show
Due to the amount of production work and delivery schedule, we strictly encourage you to show up on time during your scheduled Pick-up. We understand that life is unpredictable. In case of this circumstance, please contact us, and we will try our best to accommodate you. Failure to show up on time without prior arrangements may result in a surcharge or forfeiture of the order with no refund.
